Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Southwest Covenant Patriots (Yukon, OK) and the host Shattuck Indians (Shattuck, OK), saw Southwest Covenant's basketball team get by Shattuck by a score of 70-65.
The Patriots now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sentinel for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 17. Southwest Covenant will battle a team coming off a 77-52 non-league win over Cyril (Cyril, OK). The record now stands at 24-1.
The Indians (13-7) will now prepare for their battle against Ninnekah (Ninnekah, OK). The Owls come into the non-league battle with a 21-7 record. In their last battle, Ninnekah edged Sterling (Sterling, OK), 78-69, in a non-league battle.
