In Thursday's non-league match, the host Blue Mountain Eagles basketball team scored a tight 45-38 triumph over the Marian Catholic .

In their next game, the Eagles meet the North Schuylkill Spartans (Ashland, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 16. Blue Mountain will attempt to better on its 20-4 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 12-3 record after their 42-37 non-league win over Tamaqua (Tamaqua, PA).
