The Springfield Millers basketball team (Springfield, OR), was overwhelmed 74-42 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Clackamas Cavaliers (Clackamas, OR)
The Cavaliers now possess a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gresham for a 6A Mt. Hood battle on Friday, February 16. Clackamas will battle a Gophers team coming off a 50-25 league win over Sandy (Sandy, OR). The Gophers record now stands at 9-12.
The Millers (15-8) will now prepare for their battle against Thurston (Springfield, OR). The Colts come into the 5A Midwestern battle with a 6-14 record. In their last battle, Thurston was overwhelmed by Eagle Point (Eagle Point, OR), 65-37, in a league battle.
