Covenant Christian Academy Lions (Houma, LA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Riverside Academy Rebels (Reserve, LA), 42-6 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Covenant Christian Academy upgrades its record to 21-9 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Highland Baptist Christian (New Iberia, LA) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Monday, February 19. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 15-10. Highland Baptist Christian lost 54-49 in their recent league bout against Jeanerette (Jeanerette, LA)
