The Newton Braves basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host Dover Tigers to 18 in the Braves non-league victory on Thursday.
The Braves now sport a 13-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belvidere for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 17.
The Tigers (4-19) will now prepare for their contest against Parsippany Hills (Parsippany, NJ). The Vikings come into the non-league contest with a 7-17 record. In their last contest, Parsippany Hills was routed by Morris County Tech (Denville, NJ), 53-34, in a non-league contest.
