The George West Longhorns (George West, TX) basketball felled the visiting Rio Hondo Bobcats (Rio Hondo, TX), 47-34 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Longhorns (26-11) will now prepare for their test against London (Corpus Christi, TX). The Pirates go into the non-league test with a 13-5 record. In their last test, London thwarted IDEA Edinburg College Prep (Edinburg, TX), 80-43, in a non-league test.
The Bobcats now own a 24-6 record.
