The Marshall Tigers basketball team (Marshall, MN), was nudged 43-41 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Jefferson Cavaliers (Sioux Falls, SD)
The Cavaliers now possess a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riggs for a AA battle on Tuesday, February 20. Jefferson will confront a Governors team coming off a 49-48 league loss to Mitchell (Mitchell, SD). The Governors record now stands at 12-6.
The Tigers (18-6) will now prepare for their battle against Fairmont (Fairmont, MN). The Cardinals come into the non-league battle with a 14-10 record. In their last battle, Fairmont edged St. James (St. James, MN), 101-67, in a league battle.
