New Egypt Warriors (New Egypt, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lawrence Cardinals (Lawrenceville, NJ), 41-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, New Egypt upgrades its record to 10-11 on the season. The Warriors travel to Palmyra (Palmyra, NJ) to play the Panthers in a Burlco - Freedom bout on Monday, February 19. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 15-7. Palmyra lost 49-43 in their recent non-league bout against Holy Cross (Delran, NJ)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Bordentown Scotties (Bordentown, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 17. Lawrence will attempt to upgrade on its 5-18 season record. The Scotties go into the bout with a 18-6 record after their 55-15 non-league win over Moorestown Friends (Moorestown, NJ).
