North Fremont Huskies (Ashton, ID) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Melba Mustangs (Melba, ID), 64-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Fremont upgrades its record to 19-6 on the season. The Huskies travel to Grangeville (Grangeville, ID) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, February 16. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 22-2. Grangeville won 62-43 in their recent non-league bout against Kellogg (Kellogg, ID)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Kellogg Wildcats (Kellogg, ID) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 16. Melba will attempt to upgrade on its 16-7 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 15-10 record after their 62-43 non-league loss to Grangeville (Grangeville, ID).
