The Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Parkston Trojans to 48 in the Titans league victory on Thursday.

The Titans now sport a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kimball/White Lake for a A Region 5 contest on Friday, February 16. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton will battle a Wildkats team coming off a 53-43 non-league loss to Andes Central/Dakota Christian (Lake Andes, SD). The Wildkats record now stands at 9-10.

The Trojans (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against Chamberlain (Chamberlain, SD). The Cubs come into the non-league contest with a 9-12 record. In their last contest, Chamberlain was defeated by West Central (Hartford, SD), 58-37, in a non-league contest.
