New Jersey High School Basketball - South Plainfield knocked off by River Dell

The River Dell Golden Hawks basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting South Plainfield Tigers to 37 in the Golden Hawks non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Golden Hawks now sport a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Indian Hills for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 17. River Dell will meet a Braves team coming off a 53-43 non-league loss to Passaic County Tech (Wayne, NJ). The Braves record now stands at 13-11.
The Tigers (11-12) will now prepare for their contest against Watchung Hills Regional (Warren, NJ). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 6-17 record. In their last contest, Watchung Hills Regional ran past Hunterdon Central (Flemington, NJ), 28-25, in a non-league contest.
