The Etowah Eagles walloped the visiting Newnan Cougars lacrosse team by a final score of 17-1 in Thursday's non-league match.
With the win, Etowah betters its record to 1-0 on the season. The Eagles host Decatur (Decatur, GA) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 27. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 1-1.
