Westlake Warriors (Westlake Village, CA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the host Los Alamitos Griffins (Los Alamitos, CA), 18-11 in a non-league test.

The Warriors now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Loyola for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 20. Westlake will encounter a Cubs team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA). The Cubs record now stands at 1-0.

The Griffins (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Crespi (Encino, CA). The Celts enter the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Crespi held off Millikan (Long Beach, CA), 15-5, in a non-league test.
