In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Union Grove Wolverines soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the Luella Lions.
The Wolverines (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Dutchtown (Hampton, GA). The Bulldogs go into the 5A Area 2 battle with a 2-3 record.
The Lions (0-5) will now prepare for their battle against Woodland (Stockbridge, GA). The Wolfpack go into the 4A Area 5 battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Woodland nipped Locust Grove (Locust Grove, GA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
