Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the O'Connor Panthers (Helotes, TX) and the host Bishop Badgers (Bishop, TX), witnessed O'Connor's softball squad tip Bishop by a count of 7-6.

The Panthers now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Harlan for a 6A Region IV District 29 match on Tuesday, February 20. O'Connor will face a Hawks squad coming off a 19-0 non-league win over La Grange (La Grange, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Bishop moves to 1-1 on the season. The Badgers travel to Franklin (El Paso, TX) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Thursday, February 15. The Cougars go into the match with a record of 1-0. Franklin won 19-1 in their recent non-league match against Bel Air (El Paso, TX)
