The Monterey Plainsmen softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Borger Bulldogs to 5 in the Plainsmen non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Monterey moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Plainsmen travel to Frenship (Wolfforth, TX) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league game on Friday, February 16. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 2-0. Frenship won 1-0 in their recent non-league game against Randall (Amarillo, TX)
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Coronado Mustangs (Lubbock, TX) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 16. Borger will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
