The Whirlwinds now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Levelland for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 16. Floydada will battle a Lobos squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Kermit (Kermit, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Liberty falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Crosbyton (Crosbyton, TX) to battle the Chiefs in a non-league game on Thursday, February 15. The Chiefs come into the game with a record of 0-0.
