Texas High School Softball - Lake Belton bounces Friendswood

The Lake Belton Broncos (Temple, TX) softball routed the visiting Friendswood Mustangs (Friendswood, TX), 9-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Broncos (3-0) will now prepare for their bout against Cy-Fair (Cypress, TX). The Bobcats go into the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Cy-Fair toppled Klein Cain (Houston, TX), 17-1, in a non-league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Argyle for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 17. Friendswood will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to Episcopal (Bellaire, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 2-2.
