Liberty Panthers (Liberty, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Harlan Hawks (San Antonio, TX), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Danbury for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 15.

With the loss, Harlan falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Splendora (Splendora, TX) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 16. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. Splendora lost 7-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Johnson (San Antonio, TX)
