The Auburn Trojans (Auburn, IL) basketball edged the visiting Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL), 58-51 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Trojans now possess a 27-2 record. They play next when they travel to PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central for a Sangamo bout on Tuesday, February 18. Auburn will play a Bluejays team coming off a 52-43 league loss to Williamsville (Williamsville, IL). The Bluejays record now stands at 22-6.
With the loss, Tri-Valley falls to 22-6 on the campaign. The Vikings host Fisher (Fisher, IL) to play the Bunnies in a Heart of Illinois bout on Tuesday, February 18. The Bunnies go into the bout with a record of 11-17. Fisher lost 67-45 in their recent league bout against Heyworth (Heyworth, IL)
