The Nelson Island Islanders (Toksook Bay, AK) basketball crushed the visiting Ayaprun Jaegers (Newtok, AK), 106-32 in Saturday's league bout.
The Islanders now possess a 15-7 record. They play next when they travel to Chaputnguak for a 1A Alaska Coastal bout on Saturday, February 15. Nelson Island will play a Shaman team coming off a 74-40 league win over Nightmute Elitnaurviat (Nightmute, AK). The Shaman record now stands at 8-10.
With the loss, Ayaprun falls to 4-7 on the campaign.
