The Braintree Wamps (Braintree, MA) basketball edged the host Lynn English Bulldogs (Lynn, MA), 67-62 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Wamps now possess a 17-3 record. They play next when they travel to Charlestown for a non-league bout on Sunday, February 16. Braintree will play a Townies team coming off a 49-45 league loss to Boston Latin Academy (Dorchester, MA). The Townies record now stands at 10-7.
With the loss, Lynn English falls to 8-11 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Catholic Memorial (West Roxbury, MA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Sunday, February 16. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 11-7. Catholic Memorial won 78-63 in their recent non-league bout against Needham (Needham, MA)
