Grace Academy Lions (Matthews, NC) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Cresset Christian Academy Eagles (Durham, NC), 57-54 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Grace Academy advances its record to 20-7 on the year.
The Eagles now own a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tournament Opponent for a non-league match on Saturday, February 15. Cresset Christian Academy will face a squad coming off a 56-28 non-league loss to Pathway Christian (Kalona, IA). The record now stands at 75-204.
