Lewis County Lions (Vanceburg, KY) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Fairview Eagles (Ashland, KY), 90-58 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Lewis County advances its record to 17-9 on the year. The Lions host Morgan County (West Liberty, KY) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 10-14.

The Eagles now own a 4-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elliott County for a non-league match on Monday, February 17. Fairview will face a Lions squad coming off a 56-47 league win over East Carter (Grayson, KY). The Lions record now stands at 15-6.
