The Tates Creek Commodores basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Grant County Braves to 58 in the Commodores non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Commodores now possess a 11-12 record. They play next when they host Lafayette for a District 43 game on Monday, February 17. Tates Creek will confront a Generals team coming off a 86-33 non-league loss to North Laurel (London, KY). The Generals record now stands at 11-14.

With the loss, Grant County falls to 9-15 on the campaign. The Braves host Bryan Station (Lexington, KY) to confront the Defenders in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 18. The Defenders go into the game with a record of 21-5. Bryan Station won 55-54 in their recent league game against Henry Clay (Lexington, KY)
