The Henning Hornets basketball squad (Henning, MN), was nudged 91-87 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Hankinson Pirates (Hankinson, ND)
With the victory, Hankinson advances its record to 16-1 on the year. The Pirates host Wahpeton (Wahpeton, ND) to meet the Huskies in a non-league battle on Thursday, February 20. The Huskies enter the battle with a record of 11-7.
The Hornets now own a 19-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New York Mills for a A Section 6 battle on Tuesday, February 18. Henning will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 76-42 league loss to Parkers Prairie (Parkers Prairie, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 7-14.
