In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting St. Mark's Spartans basketball team scored a good 59-50 triumph over the Laurel Bulldogs.

The Spartans (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against Hodgson Vo-Tech (Newark, DE). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, Hodgson Vo-Tech was topped by Appoquinimink (West Middletown, DE), 78-45, in a non-league contest.
