California High School Basketball - Leigh thwarts Wilcox

February 15, 2025: San Jose, CA 95124

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Leigh Longhorns (San Jose, CA) and the visiting Wilcox Chargers (Santa Clara, CA), observed Leigh's basketball team knock off Wilcox by a score of 64-56.

The Longhorns (13-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Westmont (Campbell, CA). The Warriors come into the Blossom Valley - Mt. Hamilton challenge with a 17-6 record. In their last challenge, Westmont was knocked off by Christopher (Gilroy, CA), 54-41, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Chargers encounter the Oak Grove Eagles (San Jose, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 17. Wilcox will attempt to improve on its 12-10 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 11-12 record after their 54-44 league win over Ann Sobrato (Morgan Hill, CA).
