The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Monticello Sages (Monticello, IL) and the host St. Teresa Bulldogs (Decatur, IL), observed Monticello's basketball team overcome St. Teresa by a margin of 50-37.

The Sages (15-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL). The Rockets go into the Illini Prairie bout with a 22-7 record. In their last bout, Tolono Unity gained a win over St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL), 53-50, in a league bout.

With the loss, St. Teresa falls to 3-25 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Routt Catholic (Jacksonville, IL) to play the Rockets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 18. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 25-4. Routt Catholic won 51-45 in their recent league bout against Brown County (Mt. Sterling, IL)
