The Mt. Zion Prep Academy Warriors (Lanham, MD) basketball edged the host Sunrise Christian Academy Elite Basketball Buffaloes (Bel Aire, KS), 62-57 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 19-5 record. They play next when they host New Hope Academy Regional for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 20. Mt. Zion Prep Academy will play a Tigers team coming off a 61-59 non-league win over Bethel Academy (Manassas, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 12-18.
With the loss, Sunrise Christian Academy Elite Basketball falls to 5-6 on the campaign.
