Ohio High School Basketball - Vermilion sneaks past Oak Harbor

The Vermilion Sailors (Vermilion, OH) basketball edged the visiting Oak Harbor Rockets (Oak Harbor, OH), 50-45 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Sailors now possess a 7-15 record. They play next when they travel to Port Clinton for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 18. Vermilion will play a Redskins team coming off a 57-53 league loss to Edison (Milan, OH). The Redskins record now stands at 8-13.

With the loss, Oak Harbor falls to 4-17 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Margaretta (Castalia, OH) to play the Polar Bears in a non-league bout on Friday, February 21. The Polar Bears go into the bout with a record of 21-1. Margaretta won 80-42 in their recent league bout against Willard (Willard, OH)
