Texas High School Basketball - Panhandle nips Whitharral

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Panhandle Panthers basketball team scored a close 53-47 triumph over the Whitharral Panthers.
The Panthers (15-8) will now prepare for their contest against Spearman (Spearman, TX). The Lynx go into the non-league contest with a 22-8 record. In their last contest, Spearman was tipped by Wildorado (Wildorado, TX), 52-50, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Sands Mustangs (Ackerly, TX) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 17. Whitharral will attempt to better on its 19-7 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 20-9 record after their 52-50 league loss to Borden County (Gail, TX).
