Illinois High School Basketball - Waltonville knocks off Riverton

In Saturday's non-league bout, the visiting Waltonville Spartans basketball team scored a good 56-46 triumph over the Riverton Hawks.
The Spartans now possess a 22-4 record. They play next when they travel to Wayne City for a Midland Trail bout on Monday, February 17. Waltonville will play a Indians team coming off a 71-55 non-league loss to Carmi-White County (Carmi, IL). The Indians record now stands at 7-20.
With the loss, Riverton falls to 20-8 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Maroa-Forsyth (Maroa, IL) to play the Trojans in a Sangamo bout on Tuesday, February 18. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 11-13. Maroa-Forsyth won 67-62 in their recent non-league bout against Argenta-Oreana (Argenta, IL)
