Louisiana High School Basketball - Thomas Jefferson routs St. Martin's Episcopal

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Thomas Jefferson basketball team scored a big 75-50 triumph over the St. Martin's Episcopal Saints.

The (16-8) will now prepare for their contest against Fisher (Lafitte, LA). The Gators go into the 3A District 9 contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Fisher was trounced by Sarah T. Reed (New Orleans, LA), 83-41, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Saints battle the Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 18. St. Martin's Episcopal will attempt to better on its 14-9 season record. The go into the contest with a 17-14 record after their 63-59 non-league loss to East St. John (Reserve, LA).
