The Russell Red Devils basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Bath County Wildcats to 41 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Red Devils now have a 21-6 record. They play next when they travel to Boyd County for a non-league game on Monday, February 17. Russell will confront a Lions team coming off a 65-48 league loss to Blazer (Ashland, KY). The Lions record now stands at 16-9.
With the loss, Bath County falls to 7-20 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY) to confront the Lions in a non-league game on Monday, February 17. The Lions go into the game with a record of 12-13. Lewis County lost 57-47 in their recent non-league game against Augusta (Augusta, KY)
