California High School Basketball - Burroughs nudges Village Christian

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Burroughs Bears (Burbank, CA) and the host Village Christian Crusaders (Sun Valley, CA), observed Burroughs's basketball team edge Village Christian by a score of 40-34.

The Bears (21-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Pioneer (Whittier, CA). The Titans come into the non-league challenge with a 17-11 record. In their last challenge, Pioneer edged Marina (Huntington Beach, CA), 52-33, in a non-league challenge.
