The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mapleton Mounties (Ashland, OH) and the visiting Independence Blue Devils (Independence, OH), observed Mapleton's basketball team overwhelm Independence by a margin of 45-20.
The Mounties (18-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Loudonville (Loudonville, OH). The Redbirds come into the non-league challenge with a 15-8 record. In their last challenge, Loudonville trounced Black River (Sullivan, OH), 65-13, in a non-league challenge.
