Taft Wildcats (Taft, CA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Golden Valley Bulldogs (Bakersfield, CA), 1-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Taft moves its record to 14-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Wasco (Wasco, CA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league test on Wednesday, February 19. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 12-7. Wasco won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Foothill (Bakersfield, CA)

The Bulldogs now sport a 8-11 record.
