The Iroquois West Raiders basketball team scored 34 points and limited the host South Newton Rebels to 25 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Raiders now possess a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to Gardner-South Wilmington for a non-league game on Monday, February 17. Iroquois West will confront a Panthers team coming off a 38-31 non-league loss to Clifton Central (Clifton, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, South Newton falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Rebels host Carroll (Flora, IN) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Saturday, February 22. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 4-12.
