Western Panthers (Russiaville, IN) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Peru Tigers (Peru, IN), 56-35 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Western upgrades its record to 4-0 on the year. The Panthers host Carroll (Flora, IN) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 25. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 4-12.

The Tigers now sport a 1-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rochester for a match on Friday, February 21. Peru will face a Zebras squad coming off a 53-31 league win over Wabash (Wabash, IN). The Zebras record now stands at 4-3.
