In Saturday's non-league test, the West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM), by a score of 62-49.
Next, the Mustangs encounter the Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, February 18. West Mesa will attempt to improve on its 9-12 season record. The Jaguars come into the test with a 5-8 record after their 68-61 non-league win over Manzano (Albuquerque, NM).
The Vikings (6-11) will now prepare for their test against Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM). The Knights come into the non-league test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Del Norte beat Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 66-53, in a non-league test.
