The Eastwood Troopers overwhelmed the host Chapin Huskies softball squad by a count of 17-3 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Troopers meet the Riverside Rangers (El Paso, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 18. Eastwood will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record.
The Huskies (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Coronado (El Paso, TX). The Thunderbirds go into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Coronado was routed by Socorro (El Paso, TX), 17-0, in a non-league challenge.
