The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Canyon Cougars (New Braunfels, TX) and the visiting Alamo Heights Mules (San Antonio, TX), observed Canyon's softball team notch a victory over Alamo Heights by a final score of 13-1.

The Cougars (6-0) will now prepare for their bout against New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX). The Unicorns go into the non-league bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, New Braunfels gained a win over Warren (San Antonio, TX), 6-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Mules battle the Veterans Memorial Patriots (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 26 bout, on Tuesday, February 18. Alamo Heights will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 19-1 non-league win over Hondo (Hondo, TX).
