The Georgetown Eagles edged the visiting Burleson Elks softball squad by a count of 5-4 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the Flower Mound Jaguars (Flower Mound, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 15. Georgetown will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 10-1 non-league win over Argyle (Argyle, TX).
The Elks (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Red Oak (Red Oak, TX). The Hawks enter the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Red Oak edged Brewer (Fort Worth, TX), 12-7, in a non-league challenge.
