In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Clemens Buffaloes softball team scored a tight 9-2 win over the Reagan Rattlers.

The Buffaloes (7-3) will now prepare for their match against Steele (Cibolo, TX). The Knights come into the 6A Region IV District 27 match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Steele was routed by Bowie (Austin, TX), 11-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Rattlers battle the United Longhorns (Laredo, TX) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 18. Reagan will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Longhorns come into the match with a 2-5 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Rockport-Fulton (Rockport, TX).
