In Saturday's non-league match, the host Dumas Demons softball team scored a tight 8-2 victory over the Odessa Bronchos.

The Demons (7-2) will now prepare for their match against Frenship (Wolfforth, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 5-1 record. In their last match, Frenship tipped Amarillo (Amarillo, TX), 12-8, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Bronchos battle the Borger Bulldogs (Borger, TX) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 15. Odessa will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the match with a 1-5 record after their 10-9 non-league win over Pecos (Pecos, TX).
