The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Johnson Jaguars (Buda, TX) and the host Splendora Wildcats (Splendora, TX), observed Johnson's softball team get by Splendora by a tally of 10-3.

The Jaguars (3-0) will now prepare for their bout against Rouse (Leander, TX). The Raiders go into the non-league bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, Rouse was routed by Kingwood (Kingwood, TX), 8-4, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Coldspring-Oakhurst Trojans (Coldspring, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 17. Splendora will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Dayton (Dayton, TX).
