The Pearland Oilers softball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Oak Ridge War Eagles to 0 in the Oilers non-league win on Saturday.

The Oilers now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sam Rayburn for a 6A Region III District 22 battle on Monday, February 17.

With the loss, Oak Ridge moves to 4-3 on the season. The War eagles host Cleveland (Cleveland, TX) to confront the Indians in a 6A Region II District 13 battle on Monday, February 17. The Indians come into the battle with a record of 2-6. Cleveland won 19-0 in their recent non-league battle against Kelly Catholic (Beaumont, TX)
