The San Benito Greyhounds (San Benito, TX) softball routed the visiting Palmview Lobos (La Joya, TX), 16-4 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Greyhounds now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pharr-San Juan-Alamo for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 18. San Benito will encounter a Bears team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Veterans Memorial (Brownsville, TX). The Bears record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Palmview moves to 2-4 on the season. The Lobos host Juarez-Lincoln (La Joya, TX) to encounter the Huskies in a 5A Region IV District 30 outing on Tuesday, February 18. The Huskies come into the outing with a record of 8-1. Juarez-Lincoln won 10-1 in their recent non-league outing against Valley View (Pharr, TX)
