The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Splendora Wildcats (Splendora, TX) and the visiting San Marcos Rattlers (San Marcos, TX), observed Splendora's softball team get by San Marcos by a tally of 6-5.

The Wildcats (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Coldspring-Oakhurst (Coldspring, TX). The Trojans go into the non-league bout with a 5-2 record. In their last bout, Coldspring-Oakhurst tipped Dayton (Dayton, TX), 5-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Rattlers battle the Tuloso-Midway Warriors & Cherokees (Corpus Christi, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 15. San Marcos will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Warriors & Cherokees go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 8-2 non-league loss to Porter (Porter, TX).
